space optical system (FSO) is also called the atmosphere
laser transmission system or optical wireless system.FSO
transmits the laser signal by invisible infrared in
atmosphere.FSO could be used to build point to point
or point to multi-point high speed data communications
links which is safe and with high reliability and quality
without optical fiber.One FSO system consists of one
or more laser diodes, one or more lens, one or more
detectors with high sensitivity and data access modules. |

AirBridge is
the name of BTC FSO production series.Since the year
of 2001, BTC has applied itself to do research and
development of FSO,and the series of FSO production
has been enriched now.Currently the series of AirBridge
mainly includes AL-155M, AL-1250S and the function
modules or equipment of data access.The main characteristics
of AirBridge are as follows: |
- The type of laser emitters
is VCSEL, and emitters could be 1+1 back-up;
- The type of receiver is APD
detector;
- The system loss is very low,
the loss of entire system that includes emitter sub-system
and receiver sub-system is less than 3 dB;
- The automatic controller
